I designed the Greta for us, honestly. There's a 1.59ct elongated cushion lab grown diamond turned east-west, wrapped in a little halo of milgrain and held with soft double claws, and then down each shoulder I engraved a sprig of lavender into the gold. Lavender's been ours for a long time, a quiet queer symbol passed down through generations, and tucking it into a vintage-inspired engagement ring like this felt like the whole point. It's tender without being precious. The kind of thing you notice more every time you look down at your hand.
