The Vulcan is one of my favorites, and this version might be the boldest yet. There's a 2.75ct natural blue sapphire set east-west in a smooth bezel, and the signet face ribs out around it in these clean concentric waves. The sapphire itself has this soft, silky blue to it, not a hard bright blue but something quieter and a little dreamy, with the kind of depth you only really get from a natural stone. Against warm yellow gold it feels rich and grounded, and because it sits low with a full bezel, there's nothing to catch on. It's a ring you can wear through everything.
